FONT END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

Thanks for considering a Matsero font. This agreement is between you (or your company) and Matsero. We’ve written it in a simple and readable way while keeping the necessary legal terms. By downloading, installing, or using any Matsero font, you agree to this EULA. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the font.
LICENSE OWNERSHIP
Fonts are licensed, not sold. When purchasing a Matsero font, you receive permission to use the font according to the license purchased. Matsero retains full ownership of all font files, designs, copyrights, trademarks, and related intellectual property. All licenses are non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and worldwide. The license remains valid as long as you follow this agreement.
LICENSE TYPES
Matsero offers several license types designed for different kinds of usage. Print & Social Media License covers printed materials, packaging, PDFs, and image-based social media content such as Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube thumbnails. Logo License is intended for logos, wordmarks, monograms, and brand identity systems. Web License allows usage on websites using @font-face embedding. App License covers embedding fonts inside one mobile app, desktop app, game, or digital product. Server License allows installation on servers used to dynamically render text, PDFs, or images. Broadcast License is intended for TV, film, streaming, and commercial video productions. Corporate License provides broader organizational usage coverage. COMPANY SIZE & TIER SYSTEM
Print & Social Media and Corporate licenses are based on total company headcount, including full-time employees, part-time employees, and on-site contractors. Small Tier covers companies with 1–5 people and is intended for freelancers, small studios, and micro businesses. Medium Tier covers companies with 6–34 people and is intended for small to medium-sized companies and agencies. Large Tier covers companies with 35–75 people and is intended for larger teams and corporate departments. Extra Large Tier allows unlimited users within one organization and is intended for enterprise use. If your company grows beyond your purchased tier, you must upgrade your license accordingly.
PERMITTED USAGE
Depending on the license purchased, you may use the font for personal and commercial projects, modify the font for internal project needs such as outlining, kerning, or subsetting, and embed fonts in PDFs using print-and-preview-only embedding. Trial or demo versions may only be used for previews, mockups, and pitches and may not be used in publicly released or commercial projects.
RESTRICTIONS
You may not sell, share, distribute, lend, or transfer font files to anyone. Font files may not be provided to clients, contractors, or third parties. You may not use the font as AI or machine-learning training data, reverse engineer the font, create competing typefaces, remove copyright notices, exceed your purchased license tier without upgrading, or use the font for NFTs, blockchain assets, or crypto-related products. The font may also not be used for print-on-demand or made-to-order merchandise services such as Etsy, Redbubble, Teespring, or Printful.
CLIENT WORK
You may create designs for clients using Matsero fonts as long as the font files remain under your control. Clients may only receive final assets such as flattened images, outlined vectors, embedded PDFs, or rendered media. If a client requires direct access to the font files or wishes to continue editing with the font, they must purchase their own license.
PURCHASING FOR CLIENTS
Agencies and freelancers may purchase licenses on behalf of clients. In such cases, the license should be registered under the client’s name, as the license belongs to the final long-term user.
UPDATES & SUPPORT
Font updates, fixes, improvements, or additional weights may occasionally be provided at no extra cost. While ongoing support or future updates are not guaranteed, Matsero will make reasonable efforts to provide assistance when possible.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All rights, titles, and ownership of Matsero fonts remain exclusively with Matsero, including copyrights, trademarks, design rights, trade secrets, and source files. No ownership rights are transferred to the user.
WARRANTY & LIABILITY
All fonts are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Matsero is not responsible for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, indirect damages, or consequential damages arising from the use of the font. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific font license involved.

License details will be delivered within 2×24 hours to the email address used during checkout via Polar.sh.
